I am a huge lipstick and lip gloss addict, which is why I love when I find a great lipstick at the drug store that costs a fraction of something you would see at Saks or Nordstrom.
Enter L’Oreal Colour Caresse lipsticks, a sheer, lightweight formula that is incredibly moisturizing. I think that the color range is brilliant – there really is a shade for everyone. I already had Sunset Angora, which I reviewed here, but on a recent trip to CVS I knew I needed to pick up more (I’m not the only one who feels like they need a lipstick, right?).
The shades I picked up are Blushing Sequin, a gorgeous sheer hot pink (and my favorite of the three); Pink Cashmere, a true pink that I think leans on the cooler side; and Violet Chiffon, a medium purple-violet. Violet Chiffon is in my opinion the hardest to wear out of these shades, but I think it would look amazing in the fall and winter blended into the lips with your finger to sheer it out.
I have read other posts about these lipsticks comparing them to the Revlon Lip Butters, another one of my favorite drug store makeup products. I prefer this formula because to me it is more moisturizing, and this is just a personal preference but I am more a fan of L’Oreal’s packaging.
Do you own any lipsticks from L’Oreal’s Colour Caresse line?
