Fall Lips

Fall is my favorite season for many reasons: crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, scarfs, riding boots… the list is endless. One of the reasons I love fall makeup-wise is the ability to play around with lip color and formula. So, without further adieu, here are 5 of my favorite lip products for Fall:

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Fairest Nude: This has been one of my absolute favorite nude lipsticks for a while. The formula is creamy and the color is spot on – not too light, not too dark. Just the perfect, caramel-y nude that looks great on its own or topped with a clear or neutral gloss.

Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Deepest Cherry: You’ve got to have a great vampy lip color for the cooler months, and this is it. The name for this lipstick describes the color perfectly – it is a deep, black cherry that looks so chic with a naked eye and just a bit of bronzer on the cheeks.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore: This is a beautiful berry-red that is great for everyday. I like to apply a thin layer to my lips and pat the color in to sheer it out even more for that just-bitten, I’ve been kissing for hours look.

Maybelline Color Elixir in Celestial Coral: Oh how I love this new gloss. Don’t be fooled by the name of this shade, to me it is much more pink than coral, but it is beautiful nonetheless. If you’re more of a pink than a red girl, this bright, medium pink is perfect for you!

Le Metier De Beaute Lip Creme in Cafe Creme: This gloss costs a pretty penny, but to me it is worth it. The formula is just incredible – uber moisturizing, never sticky, and pretty long-lasting. This shade is nothing like any gloss I own; it is a gorgeous rose-brown with very fine shimmer running through it. It looks lovely on its own or over top of any nude or pink lipstick.
