Happy Thanksgiving! I wanted to create a quick, easy look to wear on this holiday, while still making it special. It incorporates a classic smokey eye, paired with pink cheeks and lips. I added a gorgeous golden highlight to the cheekbones and inner corners of the eyes for a lit-from-within glow. Here’s what I did, I hope you enjoy!
Face: I applied Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation with my fingertips, and then concealed under my eyes and on blemishes with my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I finished my face with a light application of Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
Eyes: I prepped my eyes with my Urban Decay Primer Potion, and then using the Nyx Love in Paris Merci Beaucoup palette, I applied the light pink-champagne shade (top right) onto my lids, up to the brow bone. Next, I took my Le Metier De Beaute Dualistic Eye Pencil in Noir and applied a thin line on my upper lash line and water line. I then took the darkest shade from the palette (bottom left) and smudged it on my upper and lower lash lines. To add a bit more depth to the look a took a tiny bit of the dark shadow and placed it in the crease, blending it in with the lighter shade. I finished the eye look with few coats of my L’Oreal Lash Out Butterfly Mascara.
Cheeks: I applied a tiny amount of my Jouer Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept under my cheekbones and onto my temples. I then applied Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink onto the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards. To highlight my cheekbones I applied a tiny amount of Jouer’s highlighter in Tiare (I also applied this on the inner corners of my eyes).
Lips: For a pretty pink pout I used Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Sorbet, a gorgeous natural pink with subtle gold shimmer.
