Angel Makeup Using Mostly Drugstore Products

Charlotte Tilbury is my favorite makeup artist to watch – all of the looks she creates are beyond gorgeous, and the most recent look she created in her Party Angel Tutorial is no different. The look incorporates purple shadows used in a subtle way, pink blush and lips, and a beautiful shimmer highlight on the cheekbones and inner corners of the eyes. Here is my attempt at recreating this look using mostly products you can find at your local drugstore – I hope you enjoy!

Face: Maybelline Baby Skin – applied to the t-zone to even out skin and minimize the appearance of pores (look for a review on this new product later today!); Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation; Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

Eyes: Revlon Colorstay 16 hour Eyeshadow Quad in Seductive – I applied the lightest shade all over my lid up to my brow bone, took the medium purple shade onto my crease, and smudged the darkest shade on my upper and lower lash lines; Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Black Brown – I applied a very thin line of this to my upper lash line, extending the line a bit past my lid, and I also applied it to my waterline; Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige – I applied this to the inner corners of my eyes for a wide-eyed effect; Covergirl Bombshell Volume Mascara – applied several coats to my upper lashes and one coat to my bottom lashes.

Cheeks: Jouer Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept – applied under my cheekbones and onto my temples; Bobbi Brown Blush in Pastel Pink – applied to the applies of my cheeks; e.l.f. Golden Bronzer – applied to my cheekbones.

Lips: Maybelline Color Elixir in Blush Essence.

Right! All of her tutorials are just gorgeous. And I love these revlon colorstay palettes- this one looks very similar to the one she used, and the quality is amazing for the price!
