NYE Outfit + Makeup Ideas

NYE Outfit + Makeup Ideas
Happy Sunday! New Years Eve is almost upon us and if you’re anything like me, you enjoy planning out your outfit + jewelry + makeup ahead of time. For this post I wanted to create two glam looks that are [mostly] affordable (sorry – I had to throw in the gorgeous Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad!) and are perfect for a New Year’s Eve party. The first look is for my neutrals girls – you can never go wrong with a gorgeous nude lip and smokey brown eye; the second is for those of you who aren’t afraid of a bold red lip.
  • Nude Sparkle: If you can’t wear sequins on New Year’s Eve, when can you? This gorgeous nude and silver sequin dress is a real attention grabber and will stand out in a sea of black dresses. I think that these Zara pumps pair with the gold metal detail beautifully with the dress! For added sparkle these Asos earrings, which reminded me of the Great Gatsby, will be the only accessory you’ll need. As for makeup, the Hourglass Nude Lip Stylos are creamy and pigmented, and the range has the perfect nude shade for every skin tone. For the most beautiful smokey eye of life Tom Ford’s Eyeshadow Quads have you covered – pricey, I know, but this Silvered Topaz quad delivers long-lasting, uber blendable brown and silvered-taupe shades that would bring out the silver and grey tones of the dress and earrings.
  • Black Sequin: To me, this is a very classic party outfit that won’t go out of style. This crazy affordable black sequin dress is taken to the next level with these chic Zara high heeled sandals that will compliment and elongate your legs. As with the nude sequin ensemble, I think that you really only need one great piece of jewelry to wear with such a stand out dress – I think that this glass pearl and crystal bracelet, again, Gatsby inspired, would look lovely against black. For makeup, I think that nothing goes better with a black dress than a bold red lip, and Mac’s Ruby Woo is the perfect shade that will last all night long on your lips. A thin line of black gel eyeliner on the lids, and you’re ready to shine!

I love this post – both outfits and the make up. Difficult to choose so would have to find two NYE parties to go to!
