For the third and final installment in my Valentine’s Day series I bring you a smokey eye that incorporates color, a natural rose cheek and shimmering pink lips. This type of look will stand out under dim lights – perfect for a Valentine’s night out.

Here’s what I did, I hope you enjoy!

Face: I mixed in a drop of the Revlon Photoready Skinlights in Pink Light with my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation and applied this to my face with fingertips. To conceal underneath my eyes and on blemishes I used Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, and then set my base with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light.

Eyes: Before applying eyeshadow I primed my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion. I then applied Le Metier de Beaute Dualistic Eye Pencil in Tamarack to my lids as a base, blending it in with a Mac 217 brush. This step will further ensure that the shadow will last all night, and this golden brown shade will deepen and enhance the shadow I place on top. For a subtle smokey effect I applied Rande James Super Silky Shadow in Shock* concentrating the color on my lids, and then blending what is left on the brush up into the crease. To add definition to the upper lash line I applied Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon to and then blended the liner into the shadow with the 217 brush. To smoke out my lower lash line I applied the gel crayon to my water line, and then smudged Shock right beneath it. To complete the eye look I applied several coats of Maybelline’s The Falsies Mascara to upper and lower lashes.

Cheeks: To make the most of my cheekbones I contoured slightly using Jouer’s Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept, concentrating the color in the hollows of my cheeks. To balance the smokey eye and pink lip I applied a small amount of Rande James Mineral Blush in Sunset* – a neutral rose with very fine shimmer.

Lips: Since this is a Valentine’s look for night I decided to trade in my usual nude-pink lip for a gorgeous, shimmering pink pout! I first lined my lips with Rande James Ultimate Lip Liner in Lovestory*, and then patted the lipstick in Romance* overtop.
