Sunday Style: Cozy Chic

Happy Sunday and welcome to a bit of a different post on here! I am no fashionista, but I wanted to share a few things that I have been loving clothes-wise. I can usually be found in a black shirt/sweater, dark or black skinny jeans, and a boot of some sort. More recently, though, the polar vortex conditions have forced me to pile on chunkier sweaters and layer.

I bought this Classic Chambray shirt from Old Navy over the summer, but I have been enjoying wearing it on colder days with this chunky, festive sweater from Francesca’s Collections overtop [similar here]. For bottoms I went with my favorite jeans of all time – my black skinnies from Jcrew, paired with my well-loved black booties from Madewell. To accessorize and add a bit of sparkle I went with this bracelet from Jcrew, but I have seen similar styles elsewhere.

I was channeling the beautiful Cara Delevingne when I applied my makeup, and went with a wash of Smog from the Urban Decay Naked Palette all over my lids, blended into the crease as well as smudged on my lower lash line. To add definition at the upper lash line I applied my Marc Jacobs Marc’er Precision Pen. On the cheeks I used my holy grail bronzer – Jouer’s Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept. I applied this underneath my cheekbones and onto my temples. For blush I used Tom Ford’s Cheek Color in Frantic Pink, concentrating the color on the apples of my cheeks. On the lips I went with Tom Ford’s Lip Color Shine in Frolic – a lippie that packs a lot of moisture with a bit of color and shine.
