Orange is the “it” color for spring and summer, and though you won’t see me in a neon orange lip any time soon, there are more subtle ways to incorporate this warm, weather appropriate shade that are incredibly flattering, and look great with a tan.
If your thing is bright lip colors, try Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Firecracker, a gorgeous orange-red that I plan on wearing sheered out with a solid white or black casual sundress. Despite the name “Lip Color Sheer,” you can really build this color up for a bold lip look.
If you want to ease into the orange trend with soft corals, reach for Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Sweet Spot, or Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Crave. Both shades are beautiful, wearable corals that will go perfectly with any spring or summer look.
For the slightest orange tint, try Mac Cremesheen Glass in Rising Sun, a lovely sheer orange gloss with gold shimmer that will have your lips sparkling in the sun.
To achieve a warm, coral cheek, to match your orange or coral lips, try Jouer Tint in Poppy. I love the formula of the Jouer Tints because you can blend a bit onto the cheek for a sheer application, or build the color up if you really want your cheeks to pop.
