The weather has been absolutely perfect around here the past few days. Sunny and in the low 70s – the perfect weather for sundresses, sandals and iced coffees [finals are approaching, I have caffeine on my mind]. A walk in the sun yesterday inspired me to do a little spring cleaning; I took every last boot and sweater out of my closet and drawers, and replaced them with tees, tanks, dresses and sandals.
Spring cleaning turned into online window shopping, which left me lusting after a few items that I’m convinced will be a crime to go without this summer.
First up is this absolutely gorgeous dress from Zara that screams summer. I’m not crazy about pink, but the combination of muted pale pink, white and blue looks incredibly chic – perfect for a summer brunch or day spent walking around the city with girlfriends.
I’ve had my eye on this Mini Borough Bag from Coach for a while now. It is a classic design, the Retro Glove Tan leather color goes with everything, and is the perfect size to fit all of your daily essentials. My birthday isn’t anytime soon, but this bag will be on my list [if I am able to refrain from scooping it up this summer!].
Speaking of classics, these Manhattan sunglasses by Oliver Goldsmith were inspired by the frames that Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Need I say more?
I’ve written about my love for earrings on here before, as well as my obsession with the color turquoise. These Tear Drop Medallion Earrings from South Moon Under are the perfect accessory to dress up a casual sundress, and would look effortlessly cool with a plain t-shirt and jeans.
I love wearing comfortable wedges in the summer, and this pair by Dolce Vita will look great with dresses, shorts and jeans.
