Happy Monday! For today’s post I wanted to create an easy makeup that would be perfect for a a night out this summer. I’m crazy about bronze and coral tones, and I love the effect you get when these shades are worn together – very warm and sultry. Here’s what I did, enjoy!
Face: I applied my YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation with fingertips, blending from the center of my face outwards. To conceal underneath my eyes I used Bobbi Brown’s Corrector in Light Peach, and to set everything in place I powdered with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light.
Eyes: I first washed Le Metier de Beaute True Colour Eye Shadow in Jojo [my favorite shadow of all time] over my lids, blending into the crease. For a bit of definition, I applied a thin line of L’Oreal’s Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner – the best eyeliner of life – on my upper lash line. To smoke things out Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick in Bad Girl Bronze on my lower lash line, and then blended the line out with a smudge brush. To complete the eye look I applied several coats of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara.
Cheeks: to bronze up my face a bit I applied my Jouer Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept underneath my cheek bones, and onto my temples. Then, to add a coral glow I applied Le Metier de Beaute’s Creme Fresh Tint in Coral Nymph to the apples of my cheeks.
Lips: for a really pretty coral lip I used my Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Sweet Spot. I love this lipstick because you can blend it out for a sheer coral stain, or really build the color up for a bold coral pout.
