The Skin Savior

As I mentioned in a post where I begged for your skincare recommendations, my face wasn’t doing so hot the past couple of weeks. I’m not sure what exactly caused the breakouts, probably a combination of stress, hormones, not enough sleep. You know the kind of bad skin day I’m talking about – where even the best makeup won’t make you feel confident.

Some of you had mentioned Glamglow, a brand I knew very little about. I did a little bit of research online, and wound up picking up the [decently expensive] Supermud Clearing Treatment. I didn’t see much of a difference after the first time I used the product, but after three uses [every other day], my skin looked entirely different. Smooth, breakout-free, less red.

To apply, I used the tiniest amount of product, and blended it out over my problem areas. The product dries to a lighter grey shade, and makes your skin feel a bit tighter. I would leave the product on for about 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water, and then would wait about 10 minutes before applying moisturizer. Something that makes this skin clearing treatment better than others is that it never left my skin feeling dry, whereas with others, I would have to slather on the moisturizer and would still have very visible dry patches on my forehead, nose and chin. If you’re skin is, on the whole, looking good, but you have a couple of spots to take care of, you can also use this product to spot treat.

If you are thinking about investing in a skin clearing treatment, I absolutely recommend the Glamglow Supermud. The container looks small [especially for $69], but I promise you, you only need the littlest amount to cover your face – I am sure that it is going to last me a while.

It’s such a wow product! My skin has never looked better! 🙂 You can just apply it to certain areas as a spot treatment as well if you want to ration it. 😉 xx
