Younique Beauty Roundup

I’m sure by now that many of you have heard of Younique, and the much talked about 3D Fiberlash Mascara. Thanks to two lovely ladies, Jaclyn and Robyn, I have been able to test out the mascara, a lip gloss, and facial cleanser.

The mascara comes in a black case that holds two sleek black tubes; a ‘moonstruck transplanting gel’ and ‘moonstruck natural fibers.’ In order to get the full 3D lash effect, the directions instruct to first apply a coat of your own mascara, follow that up with a coat of the transplanting gel, and then apply the fibers. In order to set everything in place, it is recommended that you apply a final coat of the transplanting gel. At first, I was a little skeptical of how this would work – I envisioned little fibers falling onto my cheeks. However, when I followed the directions, this mascara did deliver in terms of volume, and [crazy] length. For me personally, this wouldn’t be an everyday mascara because of the whole process and, surprisingly, I am really enjoying a more natural lash look as of late. But, for those of you who think, the more lashes, the better, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

The Lucrative Lip Gloss in Luxe is definitely a winner as it provides opaque, long-lasting color that is not sticky in the least. In fact, I would describe it more as a liquid lipstick because of its very creamy consistency. It provides just the right amount of shine, and doesn’t make lips look overly glossy – more of a natural sheen, if you will. Luxe is a dusty pinky-nude [a perfect everyday shade] that I find makes my lips appear a bit fuller. As for packaging, I really appreciate the mirror on the side of the tube – it is the perfect size for quick touch-ups.

The Awake Facial Cleanser is great for those of us with oily skin – this stuff leaves my face feeling squeaky clean. I have only been using the cleanser for about a week, so I will have to provide a more in-depth review after a month of use to discuss any noticeable results.

Have you tried any products from the Younique line? If you are interested in any of these products – absolutely contact the ladies mentioned above [links to their sites included], dealing with both of them was a pleasure.
