Even knowing how opaque the pigment would be, I was stick shocked to see how much color was deposited onto my lips with just one swipe. It. Was. Intense.
I really love the new Audacious formula from Nars – it is both long-lasting and creamy, and, as previously stated, really, really brings it in the pigment department. I love this look for fall – a strong lip with little else on the face besides a pretty blush and some eyeliner. That said, those out there who are new to makeup or who prefer sheerer lip products should test this lipstick out prior to purchasing.
As for this specific shade, Raquel, it is a really beautiful pinky-nude with perhaps even a very slight tinge of mauve [?]. It is a lovely everyday shade, a perfect “fall-winter nude.”
Lastly, I have to comment on the packaging. Sleek, magnetic, and is made of a substance that I absolutely prefer over the packaging of the original lipsticks. Chic.
Have you tried any of the new Audacious lipsticks?
