I’ve always been intrigued by the many variations of monthly beauty box subscriptions that are on the market, so I was very excited when I was presented with the opportunity to test out Look Fantastic’s*, which just launched this past September.
January’s beauty box contains a nice assortment of skin and hair care products, and most of the samples are very decent sizes. It included items from Nuxe, Phillip Kingsley, Goldwell,Molton Brown, Gatineau and My Vitamins. Out of all of the items shown above, my favorites are the Philip Kingsly Daily Damage Defense, Goodwell Dualsenses 60sec Treatment, and MyVitamins Vitamin C Effervescent Tablets.
The Damage Defense spray smells incredible, and was really handy considering I blow-dry my hair almost every day. It also helped to de-tangle my hair post-shower. The 60 second hair treatment is another is another amazing-smelling hair product – and the scent holds on for hours throughout the day! I applied this in the shower after I had shampooed, left it on for a quick 60 seconds, and once blow-dried, my hair was left feeling and looking brighter, and much more smooth and healthy. I reached for my last favorite, the vitamin tablets, when I needed a little boost of energy midday. Each tablet contains 1000mg of vitamin C, so they are perfect for this time of year – I’ve heard far too many people coughing over the past week!
Look Fantastic is now offering 3, 6, and 12 months subscription plans. The 3 month subscription rings in at about $60 [or 40 pounds], which is a great deal considering the quality and quantity of what you get inside.
