Transitioning My Neutral Look for Spring

You guys know my deal – my everyday look is a pretty neutral one. Sure, I enjoy a good bold lip or seriously smokey eye from time to time, but lately, the easier [and more time-efficient] the better has been my motto.

So, let’s talk taking my look from winter to spring, while still keeping things neutral, and wearable. A no-brainer for me is to make a slight change to my lip product choice. Rather than reaching for my typical pinky-nude or peachy-pink lipsticks, a great spring-y alternative is a sheer pop of color on the lips. These shades scream summer to me – the I-just-ate-a-cherry-Italian-ice-and-it-stained-my-lips-pink, color [please tell me you know what I’m talking about!].

A gloss I just rediscovered the other day that is so, so perfect for this look is Bobbi Brown’s sheer lip gloss in Popsicle. Has any color ever looked more beautiful in a lip gloss tube? I think not. This has the perfect amount of pink tint, and adds such a pretty glossy sheen. Back onto my top shelf it goes . . .
