Can you even handle how gorgeous this collection is? Neither can I. It includes beautiful smoldering eye shades, and stunning warm tones for lips and cheeks. All of the products work so well together to create a very cohesive, luminous summer look.
It is so hard to choose a favorite from the products above, but if I had to, I would probably go with the Cream Cheek Color in Pink Sand. This brightening pink shade has golden shimmer running throughout, and adds the most beautiful pearlized finish to the cheeks – without looking too glittery. I have been using it almost everyday [it even made an appearance in my April favorites!], as I feel it complements any look. Its cream consistency is really easy to work with, and blends so well.
The above two eye compacts are the Cream and Powder Eye Colors in Golden Peach, a gorgeous peachy-rose gold cream and a golden-bronze shimmer shadow, and Naked Bronze, a deep metallic bronze and a more true gold shimmer. These creams are really something else, and I actually enjoy wearing them together for an easy subtle smokey eye. I’ll take Golden Peach, quickly smudge it over my lids up to the crease, and then apply Naked Bronze in the crease, and on my lower lash line. Golden Peach does an amazing job of brightening the eye area, and Naked Bronze makes things a bit more interesting and multi-dimensional. Both have great pigmentation – a little goes a long way. The powder shadows are really like glitter top coats for eyes – I love popping a bit onto the center of lids, and on the inner corners.
I won’t go into too much detail about the Shimmering Body Oil since I featured it in its own post a few days ago, but I will say that I am still one thousand percent hooked. It adds the prettiest sheen to the skin, and smells like a tropical island, bottled.
Last, but most certainly not least – the lipsticks. I. just. can’t. Can you? Because I can’t. Skinny Dip is a pearlized peachy-pink that I have been applying non-stop. It is so flattering, especially paired with the cream blush and Golden Peach shadow. Rose Soleil is a shimmering rosy-pink that is sheerer than it looks in the tube, and is very wearable. Both are shimmer shades that have semi-translucent formulas. Though they do go on semi-sheer, I find that both colors can be built up. Speaking of the formula, it is extremely moisturizing, and adds a lovely sheen-y, glossy look to the lips.
In the above photo I kept things very natural for daytime and applied a small amount of Golden Peach to my lids, and added a bit of Naked Bronze to the crease, and to the lower lash line. I used Pink Sand on my cheeks, and swiped on Skinny Dip to finish things off.
Have you tried anything from the Tom Ford Soleil collection?
