A Few New Things

Talking today about a few products that I have been crazy about lately. If you’re looking for something new to try, I really cannot recommend these enough.

Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask: Tula has done it again, you guys. If you read my current skincare post, you know that this brand has done wonders for my skin – I use the face wash, illuminating serum, and eye cream daily. This mask is another winner, as it leaves my skin feeling really clean + refreshed [especially after a long weekend or night out]. It provides both a chemical and physical exfoliation, while still being gentle on skin. I’ve found that my skin looks brighter, and more even after I wash the mask off.

Wander Beauty On The Glow Blush + Illuminator: I am so grateful to the lovely people at Wander Beauty for letting me try this incredible duo. Both the blush and highlighter are really creamy and blend so nicely onto cheeks [and anywhere else on the face you feel you need a little extra glow]. I have the shade Coral Rose/Nude Glow, which features a gorgeous muted coral blush, and one of the most gorgeous natural highlights I have ever encountered. I apply the blush straight onto the apples of my cheeks from the stick, and blend upwards with fingers. I usually take a bit of the highlight with my fingers and then apply it to my cheekbones, brow bones, and cupids bow. Rather than containing large glitter particles, it has more of a subtle shimmer, and provides the most lovely natural sheen.

Chantecaille Galactic Lip Shine in Aurora: can you handle how gorgeous this tube of hydrating magic is? This lip shine is definitely more of a lip treatment than a lip gloss, as it does an incredible job of moisturizing, and feels really light on the lips. My only complaint is that I wish it was slightly more pigmented – it is a very sheer, translucent fuchsia.

Revlon Lacquer Balm in Ingenue: if you struggle to find a nude lipstick that doesn’t wash you out, absolutely run to your nearest drugstore to pick up Ingenue. It is a really beautiful peachy-brown with subtle glitter that provides semi-sheer coverage, but can be built up with two or three applications. These lacquer balms feel really comfortable on the lips, and keep them feeling moisturized all day.

It is so great!! The coral cream blush is so natural and pretty, and the highlighter is really one of the best I have ever used!
