Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise – The Dreamiest of Cream Shadows

I am obsessed with every Charlotte Tilbury product I’ve tried. I also have a serious love for cream products. So, when I found out that Charlotte Tilbury was launching a line of cream eyeshadows, I knew that I had to try them.

As I had expected, the Eyes to Mesmerise* are everything I thought they would be – pigmented, incredibly smooth and easy to blend, and budge-proof [even without an eyeshadow primer]. They are also buildable – so, for daytime, or no makeup-makeup days, I’ll blend a small amount on my lids with a finger, throw on a bit of mascara, and that’s that. A quick, easy, no-brushes-needed long-lasting eye look. To transition a look for night, I’ll apply another layer of shadow, blending a bit onto the inner corners, as well as on my lower lash line.

The shades I have pictured above are, from left to right, Jean, a gorgeous pale gold, Bette, a shimmering copper, and Marie Antoinette, an oyster gold [and also my favorite of the three].

My current favorite way to wear this product is to apply Marie Antoinette all over my lids, blended up to the crease, and then to take Jean, and apply it to the inner corners of my eyes as a highlight. For a more intense look, I’ll smudge a bit of Marie Antoinette on my lower lash lines, apply liquid liner to my lids, winging the line out at the outer corners, and apply several coats of black waterproof mascara.

Have you guys tried any of the Eyes to Mesmerise?

I’ve been wanting to try these for so long, but I haven’t seen them in stores so I’m hesitant to purchase.

I’m so jealous you got to try these! They’re seriously so beautiful, and the Marie Antoinette shade looks right up my alley.

I’ve been trying to resist the urge to pick these up. CT always gets me and I think I might have to get them. They remind me a lot of the Tom Ford Limited Edition Cream shadows, but slightly more affordable and a permanent collection.

I’ve been really interested in trying these, and you’re review is super helpful since we don’t have a counter in Montreal so I can’t play with them. Thanks! Having a hard time deciding between Marie Antoinette and Bette :S
