I recently picked up two products from Bobbi Brown’s Telluride collection, which, on the whole, is very wearable, and features lots of pretty neutrals [very standard Bobbi, to me]. I like to think of these shades as more mature pinks and nudes [the kind of shades you can wear literally anywhere – from work to happy hour].
I decided on the Sheer Lipstick in Natural Pink [after having tried it on], and Pot Rouge in Fresh Melon [a favorite of Rosie Huntington Whiteley, according to the brand’s site]. Natural Pink is, essentially, a natural pink shade – this description is super helpful, I know. It’s a medium pink that delivers a really good amount of color despite being in the sheer line. The consistency is really comfortable and light-weight; I’d say it’s somewhere between a lipstick and a balm, but definitely nowhere near as thick as Bobbi’s Creamy Lipstick formula. I of course applied a second coat of Natural Pink literally as soon as I purchased it, and SECONDS later [for real, guys], a woman on the street asked me what lipstick I was wearing, saying that it was a perfect “natural pink-nude.”
Fresh Melon is a beautiffullllll creamy peach shade that is void of any shimmer. It adds a lovely dewy effect to cheeks, and imparts a natural peach tint that lasts all day.
I think that both products will look super gorgeous on summer evenings [who doesn’t love a rosy-lipped look with a tan], but, more importantly, I think that they will transition really well into fall, and are just great year-round colors.
Have you tried anything from the Telluride collection? What are your favorite Bobbi Brown products?
