A Little Something Extra . . .

extras-one

extras-two

I have my standard products and accessories that I apply/wear everyday – like my Glossier tint that I slap on religiously in the morning, and my tiny diamond necklace that feel naked without. There are some things, though – extras, added details – that I break out from time to time that I feel make a look a bit more special, or put together.

Reading glasses – these classic black frames from Warby Parker go with everything, and always make me feel a little more chic – especially on days when I go really light on eye makeup.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray – I FINALLY ran out of my giant can of this stuff, so I had to restock. How cute is this mini version?! Out of all the hair products I’ve tried, this one is still my favorite. It smells incredible, and is such a great pick-me-up to add body and texture. I throw this in my bag if I know I’m headed out after work.

Rose Gold Bangles – I’ve been obsessed with these two pretty bracelets from Stella + Dot. So pretty and lightweight – love how they look with my rose gold Daniel Wellington watch.

Fragrance – I always feel like I’m missing something if I leave my apartment without having put on perfume. Luckily, I’ve been remembering to throw this Nirvana Black roller ball in my bag – such a great travel size.

Pretty gloss – you can’t go wrong with a pretty little gloss, am I right? A non-sticky, slightly shimmer-y formula [like this one from Marc Jacobs] looks gorgeous overtop of any lipstick or liner, without being too much.

Highlight on fleek – yeah, went there. Adding highlighter to cheekbones [especially when said highlight is Becca Cosmetics’ Champagne Pop] always, without fail, makes me smile. I know this one has been written/posted/talked about ad nauseam – but with good reason. Absolutely check it out if you haven’t already.

Love all those products, I really want to try out the texturizing spray now. It sounds so good and I’ve been really into texturizing sprays lately but none of the ones I own have done much for me.

I’m in love with using Champagne Pop, so great for even fair skin! Which I find that highlighters can be way too pigmented and just look like a streak of gold on the skin, but this product has done wonders!

Still trying to get my hands on Champagne Pop! Is it much different than the Charlotte Tilbury one from filmstar bronze + glow?
