Being that this past Sunday was the premiere of the 6th season of Game of Thrones, I decided to do a little Khaleesi, ahem, Emilia Clarke makeup. Because, I mean, look at her.

The girl can rock a serious red lip on the red carpet, but I think my favorite look on her is something natural and glow-y [obviously that’s what I’d like best]. I’m crazy about everything that’s going on in her GQ photos – voluminous, tousled hair, glowing skin, a neutral kind of smudge-y eye, and a coral pink pouty lip. So, that’s what I attempted to recreate here! Not exactly the same, but an easy everyday look that took minutes to achieve.

Face: I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation in 2 Fair to create a really smooth base. I then patted Glossier’s Stretch Concealer in Light underneath my eyes.

Eyes: I began by roughly lining my upper lash line with Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock ‘n’ Kohl pencil in Barbarella Brown, and then smudged it with a finger. I then applied the medium brown shade from the Mac x Ellie Goulding Halcyon Days palette, quickly blending with a finger on my lids and into the crease. To add a bit of brightness, I took the highlight shade from the same palette and tapped it onto the center of my lids. To make the look a little daytime-smokey, I applied Mac’s Eye Kohl in Powersurge to my waterline. I finished the eyes with lots of Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.

Eyebrows: To create a slightly fuller brow [serious brow envy, Emilia], I filled in sparse areas with Makeup For Ever’s Pro Sculpting Brow.

Cheeks: I bronzed up my cheeks and temples with Tom Ford’s Powder Bronzer in Terra. To add a bit of color + glow to my cheeks I blended Smashbox’s L.A. Lights in Silver lake Sunset on the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards. For even more of a highlight I tapped the Halcyon Days highlight shade on the tops of my cheekbones, and down the bridge of my nose.

Lips: Lastly, on the lips I mixed the pink cream shade from the Halcyon days palette with Tom Ford’s Moisturecore Lip Color in Carriacou.

Anddd that’s it! Are you as crazy about GOT [and Khaleesi] as I am?
